Fractional plates are the ideal choice for competition. A great benefit is that they can be added to the bar without removing the collar. The handle in the inner ring of the plate will secure itself to the bar and will not move, keeping the other plates in place.

Fractional plates will not touch the ground when in use. For that reason, they may be either iron or rubber coated.

When athletes are pushing their limits and working toward PRs, every fraction of a kilogram matters.Our fractional plates/change plates are designed for this purpose, offering six weight increments from 0.5KG up to 5KG. With a consistent 50.40MM diameter collar opening, all plates are compatible with any standard Olympic barbell, and their Green/Yellow/Blue/Red/White color coding matches the IWF standard—creating a uniform look when loaded.
