Product details

The basic structure of a centrifugal pump is composed of eight parts: impeller, pump body, pump cover, water retaining ring, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring, stuffing box, axial force balance device.

Ball bearings are most commonly used in small and medium sized pumps because of their high speed capability and low friction.

Bearings in centrifugal pumps support hydraulic loads imposed on the impeller, the mass of the impeller and shaft, and loads caused by couplings and drive systems. They also keep axial and radial shaft deflections within acceptable limits for the impeller and shaft seal.

Bearings supporting the axial load are mounted in a bearing housing, separate from the pump frame, to allow adjustment of the impeller in the casing. In these cases, the adjustable housing is shimmed with the frame to ensure good bearing alignment.

Centrifugal pump bearings are often critical to all types of manufacturing processes; Bearing performance and reducing the risk of potential pump failures are critical factors that our ball bearing engineers can address upfront. Common bearings for liquid pumping applications are our durable, high-precision angular contact bearings although other types of bearings are also used depending on the application and resulting design.

The bearing bracket of sanitary centrifugal pump adopts stainless steel connecting flange, bearing body and bracket welded together.

The surface roughness is small, and no impurities will be adsorbed during the production process.
