Brazil's welded tube makers reportedly announced that they have a difficult time to persuade customers to hike domestic welded tubes prices at this moment. However, Brazilian tube makers plan to try again in near future.

Currently, HRC is negotiated domestically at around US$775-805/mt, CRC at around US$980-991/ton and HDG at nearly US$1,100-1,124/ton. All prices are ex-works and do not include taxes according to report. In the meantime, the country’s welded tube shipment has increased about 20% since January.
