US-based foodservice packaging firm D&W Fine Pack has launched a new line of tableware called REVIVE, made from 100% biodegradable sugarcane fibre.

The REVIVE line, featuring a full suite of bowls, plates, platters and hinged containers, is microwave, oven, and freezer safe, as well resistant to leaks, cuts, oil, and high water temperatures.

The new packaging offer all the benefits of plastic, and also meet ASTM D6868 and EN13432:2000 testing for biodegradability and composting.

The stock line products are white made from elemental and chlorine-free bleached sugarcane, while custom products are available in white or natural made from non-bleached sugarcane fibre sheets.

The REVIVE products can also be custom-designed, printed or embossed to increase customers' brand awareness.
